Salt

There’s no doubt about it! Your liability increases during the cold, snowy months when driveways or parking lots get coated with ice and snow. All it takes is one slip or fall, and you could have a nasty lawsuit, or painful recovery, to deal with.

Salt Treatment

We help lessen the chance of this happening by using a variety of ice management options. In areas where salt can be used, we offer salt treatment during wintry, icy conditions.

How does salt melt ice? Water freezes at 32 degrees Fahrenheit (0 degrees Celsius). Salt lowers the temperature at which water freezes, or melts.

But sand isn’t the only way to attack snow and ice. Read about our sand and salt combination and our Magic Salt® program.
